Burnt Store Meadows offers newer, Florida-style homes in a quiet, natural setting. Behind each home is a park-like green belt where residents can watch tropical birds hunt and play every day. Maintained by the property owners association, the green belt presents some of the most spectacular natural experiences in Charlotte County.

While life in the Meadows may feel like stepping into a secluded, nature lover’s paradise, the community itself is conveniently located near the three major thoroughfares in Charlotte County. On the western border, Burnt Store Road takes you down to Cape Coral. The northwest border is US 41, which is a direct route to Port Charlotte, downtown Punta Gorda, and Fort Myers. I-75, the main expressway for all of Southwest Florida, is a mere five minute drive.

Property owners elect officials to serve on the Property Owners Association, which manages deed restrictions and other community issues. The Board meets monthly and then holds an annual business dinner in October. Current annual dues are $95. The Meadows also has a Neighborhood Watch program.

Every home is custom built and unique. Condos and vacant lots are available. Homes range in age from 20 years to new construction. Most homes feature open floor plans with plenty of windows and sliding glass doors that make nature watching easy. Home pricing begins as low as $100,000. Vacant lots sometime go as low as around $10,000.
