Punta Gorda Isles is a boater’s paradise. The deed-restricted, waterfront community offers 45 miles of canals, each with a minimum width of 100 feet. Punta Gorda Isles Civic Association (PGICA): With over 20 social clubs and a host of community activities, the PGICA is an invaluable resource for PGI residence looking to meet new people and get involved.

St. Andrews South Golf Club: This 18 hole, par 71 golf course provides a challenge for golfers of all handicaps. St. Andrews South has 15 lakes and 48 sand bunkers that make every round interesting. In 1981, Ron Garl, a prominent Florida course architect, designed the 6103-yard course. St. Andrews South is a private club owned by its members. It purposely keeps its membership at fewer than 300, lower than any other club in southwest Florida, to ensure there are always tee times available.
